Happy New Year! It’s 2014: 3 Website Edits You should do Right Now

I really hope you guys spent a great Christmas and New Year’s eve. This year, 2014, is going to be really special. I even like that number, it has something magical about it.

A few interesting things that will happen this year:

  1. January 1 – Latvia officially adopts the euro currency and becomes the 18th Eurozone country.
  2. April 29 – An annular solar eclipse will occur.
  3. June 12 – July 13 – The 2014 FIFA World Cup will be held in Brazil.
  4. September 18 – The Scottish independence referendum is scheduled to be held.
  5. (great news) December 31 – The US and the UK are scheduled to officially withdraw their troops from Afghanistan, marking the end of their 13-year involvement in the Afghan Civil War.

Personally, it’s going to be a great year as well > I’m going to publish my book “eCommerce and Beyond” by the end of January and start a website sales training “academy”. You will all get a free copy of the book and many more freebies (join the newsletter right now) – so stay in touch!

Anyway, right now, go to your website and do the following edits:

  1. Change the copyright date in your footer to 2014
  2. Make sure your latest blog is dated 2014 (change its date if you can’t write a new one)
  3. If you have a calendar on your site, make sure it’s updated to 2014
